Learning Brought to Life 2020 has been cancelled but more good things are on the way

Due to the current Coronavirus (COVID 19) emergency, and to align with Australian and Victorian Government directives relating to mass gatherings, ELAA has decided to cancel our 2020 Learning Brought to Life event . We had hoped to reschedule the event to March 2021 but the ongoing COVID-19 situation in Victoria and logistical considerations now makes this impractical. However, we are currently working on plans for a series of online professional development events for the Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) sector for late 2020 through to the middle of 2021. This series will be delivered under the Learning Brought to Life banner and promises to be inspiring, practical, easy to access and affordable. More details will be provided over the next couple of months. We’re also hoping to return to a large scale ‘face-to-face’ event in 2022.

Learning Brought to Life is for ...

teachers, educators, parent committee volunteers, organisation leaders, and allied professionals who want to shine the light of learning on the issues, skills, people, and processes that make early childhood education and care stronger.

Previously known as the ELAA Early Childhood Education Conference, Learning Brought to Life puts the focus squarely on practical skills for education practice and service management. This is a day for the people who jump in ‘boots and all’ to do their best for every child in their care … every single day, no matter what.

Learning Brought to Life is also about progress – we want early childhood education in Australia to be recognised as the best in the world and resourced appropriately.

With local and internationally renowned speakers, Learning Brought to Life is the learning event for the early years sector in 2021.

New ideas. New skills. New inspiration
